Anu is a Programme Manager at the Portfolio Origination and Management department of NDF. As an economist with an MBA in finance, she started her career as finance and risk manager with experience from the Finnish Export Credit and AIG. Her career has evolved to climate and development finance with experiences from UNDP and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Finland where she worked initially as senior energy adviser. She also worked five+ years in Africa, first as counsellor for private sector development at the Embassy of Finland to Zambia and then as an adviser at the executive board of the AfDB in Abidjan. Before joining NDF, she most recently worked for the MFA as Deputy Director and Team Leader for Multilateral Development Banks in the Unit for Development Finance and Private Sector Cooperation.
